Taking a Step Back to Move Forward

Hey Hey Hey!!!
I wanted to share a quick update.
After some reflection, I’ve decided to delete my Discord server. There's no drama or big reason—just a simple truth: I bit off more than I could chew.
Trying to manage multiple social platforms has left me feeling stretched thin, and honestly, not successful in the ways I hoped. I had big dreams and bold vision, but in truth, I'm not that person yet....my foundation is still growing. That vision is for a future me with a bigger and more engaged following.
So, I'm making a shift.
Moving forward, I’ll be focusing on my knitting blog. Sharing those in progress moments via photos and posts, which still allows you to comment and interact with me as you're able.
My YouTube channel will be slightly shifted. I will no longer follow a weekly or even a monthly schedule—instead, I’ll release videos within the knitting season when I have something meaningful and complete to share. This change is primarily because we all are a little more busy, outside and distracted with life during the warmer months and finding more things to ramble on about when youre barely knitting is not easy. Not to mention, everyone else in the youtube world is doing enough videos on all the summer patterns you can knit but have not actually knit themselves; I didnt want to fall into that cycle.
Knitting, while always my beloved and cozy craft, simply is not as "fun" or "useful" at 80+ degrees.
I LOVE connecting with everyone and I deeply appreciate how we’ve grown together, interacted and laughed with each other. But truthfully, I’ve been feeling the weight of disappointment. The pressure to keep up with YouTube's algorithm has taken a toll mentally and it’s become clear, for my sanity that using this space as a potential income is not going to work, so instead, in a true, share with a friend mindset I'll step back on sharing every detail of a project in progress. I'd rather pour that energy into actually finishing work I’m proud to show.
Thank you for sticking with me through all the transitions and uncertainties. Bigger thanks for those of you that have reached out to check my pulse. I’m excited (and relieved) to create in a way that feels sustainable and true to my new vision.
Cooler Knitting Days Ahead
